Valentine's Day is upon us and to me it's just a Thursday...oh yes, and Gabby's birthday..Happy Birthday Gab!

Philip and I have never really celebrated the day with chocolates and gifts. I think it's a cheesy day and you should show your love throughout the year and not give Hallmark your $5 for a card. However, Philip if you're reading this, that does not mean I'd be totally opposed to getting a present; sparkley things are always nice (hint, hint) :o)

We usually stay home and make a nice dinner together. Last year we did fillet mignon with red wine sauce, roasted asparagus and mashed potatoes. Yum! This year we're going back to our favorite....homemade pizza from scratch, dough and all! Then we'll be off to San Antonio for a weekend of fun!
